Share an app
To share an app, follow these steps:- Open the app and click Share.

- Add people and pick a role. A Viewer can open and use the app. An Editor can also change it.

- Or open it to your organization. Under General access, turn on Everyone in your organization can view.

What each role can do
See what each role, Viewer or Editor, can do in an app.Use an app shared with you
An app is interactive for everyone who can open it, and nothing you do while consuming it changes the app for anyone else.- Filter. Use the app’s filter controls to narrow what you see. Selections apply to your view only.
- Dive deeper with Annotate. Point at a chart or number or ask about it. The conversation that opens is scoped to that element.
- Ask in chat. The chat panel on the left carries the app as context. Ask it to explain what a view is showing, or take the analysis further with follow-up questions.
- Scope an analysis in chat. Name the view or metric you mean, and the analysis runs on that data instead of the whole app.
- Take the data with you. Every widget’s menu has Download data (CSV), and Refresh data re-runs the app’s queries on demand.
Governance notes
Sharing an app never bypasses sign-in or the security rules already on your data.- Live Apps have no public links. Everyone who opens an app signs in to WisdomAI, and access comes from a share or from organization-wide viewing.
- Row-level and column-level security apply to every viewer. Sharing an app never turns those off.
- Transfer ownership in the app menu hands an app to a new owner.
Export an offline copy
Download HTML in the app menu packages the app and its current data into a single file that opens in any browser, with no sign-in. Use it for point-in-time sharing outside the platform. The file shows the data it was exported with and does not refresh.
An exported HTML file carries data with it. Anyone with the file can see that data, so treat it like any other data export.

Move an app between environments
Data admins can move an app definition from one account or environment to another.- Export app (JSON) in the app menu downloads the app definition.

- Import Live App on the Live Apps view creates a new app from an exported file. WisdomAI validates the table mappings against the destination domain before importing.
